Vertical Nefertiti (2026) by Ernest Vitin (b. 1984, Latvia) is a towering architectural sculpture hand-crafted from vertically stacked sheets of cold-worked plate glass in radiant translucent green. Vitin reinterprets the iconic ancient Egyptian queen through vertical layered glass laminations, transforming her regal profile into a luminous, light-modulating monument.
The translucent green glass shifts with every movement of ambient light, revealing intricate topographical step-cuts and internal diamond-polished reflections. A museum-grade focal sculpture for luxury illuminated pedestals, modern double-height salons, and elite private collections.
