Collection: Eva Zucker (b. 1985)
Eva Zucker, born in 1985 in Neustrelitz, Germany, is a contemporary figurative artist and self-taught painter based in Germany.
She creates exclusively original, hand-painted one-of-a-kind works in acrylic and oil on canvas. Her paintings explore human vulnerability, emotional tension, identity, inner conflict, and the quiet psychological spaces between control and surrender.
Her artistic process combines figurative drawing, layered painting, glazing, wet-on-wet passages, direct brushwork, and at times more impasto, textured areas. Parts of her technique are inspired by traditional and Old Master painting methods, especially in the use of layers, depth, transitions, and controlled light. Rather than reproducing a classical style, Zucker translates these influences into her own contemporary and psychologically charged visual language.
Alongside her main figurative practice, she also creates selected adapted works, reinterpreting familiar visual narratives through her own painterly and emotional lens.
Her works are held in private collections in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including the dd.g collection.
