His \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecurrent work examines memory, emotional wounds, belief \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003esystems, the inner child, and the ways human relationships shape \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eidentity.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHis approach - which he describes as Psychological Art - grew from \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003epersonal experience as a patient and a sustained engagement \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewith psychology. Rather than treating the image as decoration, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003euses staged scenes, recurring objects, and symbolic \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003enarratives to create spaces of recognition: images that invite \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eviewers to face what is often difficult to name, and to discover \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethat intimate experience can also be shared experience.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGalán has produced six completed photographic series.
