In selected works, she extends the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003epainted surface through Augmented Reality, where static botanical forms come to life, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecreating a dialogue between past and present, the living and the inanimate, organic \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003enature and algorithmic logic.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA member of the SoWa Artists Studios in Boston, she has exhibited in the United \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStates and internationally. Her works are held in private collections across the US, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUK, Russia, and Europe.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStatement \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMy practice is grounded in oil painting, in the accumulation of translucent glazes \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand the way light moves through them. Through detailed studies of botanical forms, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003efrom full bloom to decay, I investigate transformation, impermanence, and the fragile \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eequilibrium between states. I work with the classical genre of floral still life, but place \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eit in dialogue with the language of contemporary digital culture.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMetallic leaf in my work functions not as ornament, but as an active reflective surface \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethat interacts with light and the direction of the viewer's gaze. Dark elements, by \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003econtrast, absorb light, creating tension and a shifting balance between visibility and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003edisappearance. This dialogue between emission and absorption is what I return to in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003epainting again and again.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMy painting asks to be looked at slowly. The layers accumulated on the surface of the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecanvas do not reveal themselves at once; they emerge gradually, as the viewer stays \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewith the work. My task is to create a space one can enter.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn selected works, I extend the painting beyond the canvas through augmented \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ereality. Butterflies, dragonflies, and ladybugs — rendered in oil in the tradition of the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOld Dutch masters — begin to move in AR and continue to exist in digital space, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eliving there an endless life. This work is built on a series of contrasts that concern me: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebetween past and present, the living and the inanimate, the flat and the dimensional, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethe organic chaos of nature and the mathematical logic of the algorithm. The viewer \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eencounters the same work across different states of reality and is left with a question:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Where does the real end, and the
